Investigation Services
Investigation Services is a division of the Sheriff’s Office comprised of a team of dedicated and skilled investigators. This division is responsible for investigating serious crimes and representing the victims of those crimes as well as addressing illegal drug activities. The mission of this division is to uncover truth and provide clear, unbiased reports and testimony to the courts. This is accomplished through analytical processes and conclusions, supported by sciences, technology and human interaction.
The Investigation Services Division maintains a strong partnership with a host of federal, state and local law enforcement agencies as well as the N.C. State Crime Lab to bring all available resources to the aid of the citizens.
