Enroll Property in Voluntary Agricultural District

Voluntary Agricultural Districts (VADs) and Enhanced Voluntary Agricultural Districts (EVADs) help form partnerships between farmers and county members to help protect land from urban or non-farm development.

If you are interested in protecting your farmland, the Voluntary Agricultural District may be a good option for your farmland. The Voluntary Agricultural District in Montgomery County, NC was established in 2010. We have 2745.82 acres currently enrolled in our Voluntary Agricultural Districts.

If you are interested in enrolling, please contact [email protected] or please give us a call 910-576-6011.
