Water Service Interruption - 2/28/2025
Montgomery County Public Utilities will temporarily shut down a portion of the water system today to make a temporary connection for the lake crossing on Highway 73.
Customers along Lilly's Bridge Road, Highway 73, Highway 24/27, and River Road may experience low to no water pressure for approximately 8 to 10 hours while this work is being completed. Once service is restored, you may notice air in the water lines, which is common after an interruption. This poses no health risk and can be resolved by running a faucet to flush the system.
The boil water advisory remains in effect and will only be lifted once work is complete, and laboratory results confirm the safety of the water. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to improve the water system.
