Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCoV) Update
As of January 31st, 2020, the North Carolina Division of Public Health (DPH) has released 3 news releases on the 2019 novel coronavirus:
As of 1/29, there have been no confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus in North Carolina. While the CDC considers 2019-nCoV to be a very serious public health threat, the current immediate health risk to the general American public is considered low at this time. Nevertheless, CDC is taking proactive preparedness precautions.
